I want to take a moment and tell you all about NAPCP, what it stands for, and what it means to me and the photography industry! National Association of Professional Children's Photographers - aka "NAP"C.P. - is a wonderful resource for all families. Not only is it a directory resource for some of the top children's photographers in the country, but also a place to check out the latest in everything photos, design, and inspiration on their Parent's Blog.

I have been a part of this community for around a year now and have been honored to be a Moderator on their photographer's forum and to be a speaker at their Napa Valley Retreat this summer. Ok, ok! I totally deserve the emails I've been getting asking where I am and what in the world has happened to me! LOL! If you happen to be one of my Facebook Friends, you probably know all the busy things I've been doing this summer (and most of you are pretty busy too)! But in the end, it really isn't any excuse not to be posting some eye-candy photos and chat about the latest happenings.

I recently sent out a newsletter detailing a few of the things I've been up to! This summer alone has probably included more travel than I've done in my lifetime and I have to admit, I'm addicted! I absolutely loved flying (a surprise to me because I was terrified up to the last minute!) and I want to do it all the time! I'm hoping my ventures with photography and in the photography industry will allow me to travel all over the world, and my hope is to share that with my kids as well.

As for local events, I am still going strong with Petite Sessions every month. A lot of my past clients have really taken on to their special discounts, and with the gifts I'm giving with purchase (check the newsletter!) these sweet sessions are filling up. Father's Day is fast approaching and this is a time to celebrate those men that are the foundation and steady rock in all of our lives. We have a little cameo in group of photographs selected by the National Association of Professional Children's Photographers (of which I am a proud member)with one of my latest favorite images. I had a wonderful session with this gorgeous little guy today. He was a perfect model and slept for hours while myself and Mausi and my staff posed, played, and chatted. What a FUN session on top of some seriously beautiful photographs we captured. Thanks to mom and dad for bearing the heat for C's newborn session!!! I think we can agree it will have been soooo worth it...

I think one of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting a glimpse into the lives of families and the love they share. I mean, if you had a baby as cute as this, you would want to show him (or her) off! I had an absolute blast with a Baby Plan client who I love seeing time and again!

So mama, this teaser is for you girl! I had a great time with you guys today and there is PLENTY more eye candy to go around ^_^

There is no doubt about it, newborns are one of my favorite sessions to photograph. From designing the custom session, to creating gorgeous pieces that I know will be displayed and enjoyed for years to come, to... birth announcements! I love these stationer bundles so much that I include a pack of 25 designer announcements with every Newborn Session.

I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous baby girl this month and let me tell you, Momma came prepared! I thought I had quite the stash of bows, hairbands, cutesy goodies and such... but she totally had me beat. That is how you know you are gonna have a great mom who will keep her baby stylish at all times!

Along with the 25 announcements, we include matching Paper Source envelopes with a variety of color choices at the studio. Let's just say, we go all out for our newborn babies who deserve nothing but the best!

So several of my mommies are waiting for just a little morsel of photo-goodness from the last two Petite Sessions. Our poor April sessions were rained out twice and then scattered about a bit, so these mommas are SUPER anxious to see these!

So... why get a Petite Session? I've been asked why the Petite Session fees are more expensive than our regular sessions. Well, the beauty of these sessions are that you get to take home EVERY image from your photo shoot. We put all the digital negatives on a disc for you and present to you a license for reprint rights as well as an Artist's Choice 8x10 finished print. In other words, for most needs, these are all-inclusive sessions! The sessions are quick, with a faster turnaround than our normal sessions, and we host them at fun locations every month.

So... when should I get a Petite Session? We host these sessions only on one day, every month. So as soon as you start thinking about getting a session, call us, because we book these pretty fast! Since the introduction of these specialty sessions in November of 2009, we have had a huge response. If your session is for a time-sensitive milestone, be sure to book your session at least a month or two in advance. This would include Maternity photos, 6 Months, Birthdays, etc. There really is no wrong time to get a Petite Session. Our affordable Petite pricing make these sessions doable more than once per year!

But... what if I want some gorgeous Boutique products? We can host one Gallery Viewing per client at the studio for those who wish to purchase custom framed prints, albums, canvases, etc. We fully retouch the images when producing finished pieces and separate from our Premium Sessions, there is no minimum order when purchasing A La Carte.

Oh oh oh... I have an idea! If you have an idea for a special location, have access to a gorgeous space, or can put us in contact with a unique spot for Petite Sessions, you can receive a specialty discount on your Petite Session! We specifically look for beautiful places that match the theme of the season. A field in the spring, a pool in the summer, sunflowers for fall, etc etc. Contact us with your ideas and connections at any time.

A little teaser from a wonderful newborn session. This little girl was beyond precious. Everything a photographer could hope for with a beautiful little newborn. She came in ready for her closeup, she had chunkies and rolls in all the right places, she slept like an angel and even endured the one day it was actually cold outside. *Happy Sigh* and with beauties like this, we can create art like this...

I have been dying to release a slew of photographs I've been working on over the last couple weeks!!!! I am starting to get so many I'm not sure that I can really find the time to post them all but I'm hoping to give everyone a chance to get their images blogged!

Last month's Petite Sessions were off the hook! Our location was amazing, our kids were amazing, and we all had a ton of fun! I had the immense privilege of hanging out with this cutie today! More to come soon, but I had to post a little teaser for mom! The weather was gorgeous and I just couldn't have had a more fun time. I thought this photo, surrounded by clovers outside the studio, was a perfect welcome to Spring.

I had the absolute privilege of getting to know these wonderful parents-to-be. Momma T is a kind and gentle person, I'm sure all who know her will say the same! She is a beautiful person, inside and out... and little Noah will be one lucky guy to have such a sweet mom! I can't wait to meet him when he "arrives"!

I am so proud to show off this Sneak Peek for my dear friend and fellow creative momma, miss Beckie J!

Let me tell you about this little sleeping beauty... she is all part sugar and all part spice at just 4 days old!!!! I love it! The spitting image of her gorgeous big sister (featured here in the first image), I can already tell what Momma is looking forward to!

While I love to pose my little sleeping babies, there is nothing more rewarding than capturing a moment they surprise me with. This one tells me, "Stay Proper, even while asleep"... or maybe she is already dreaming of flowers, accessories, and tea parties!

I have to say, I have been anxiously awaiting the day that I can show off this Teaser set!!! You all might remember this gorgeous maternity session (who has a beautiful little cameo in the website's slideshow above). Let me tell you, these two boys were two of the sweetest little things I've ever seen. At 5 months old you could already see their little expressions and personalities.

This was my first experience with shooting twin newborns and these two made it so easy on me! There is so much involved in just one little newborn, that I was so anxious to have everything just right for the twins. As it goes, one will sleep while the other is awake, but even while awake they were as sweet as little babes can be.

Who wouldn't want to cuddle up to these cuties every night?! This is just the Teaser, more will be coming soon!

Those are the two words that come to mind when I met this absolute beauty. She really was just so beautiful, I swear only the most beautiful babies come to see me. She just has the cutest face, and a calmness to her that just quiets your heart. I remember how sweet she was when she was here, and I could have just held her all day!

Like many of you, I have been compelled to give something to our friends in Haiti during this tragic time. Help us Share the Love by joining us for a very special Valentine's Mini Shoot. On February 6th we will be holding a mini shoot at the studio for all who pre-book their "Sharing the Love with Haiti" session. You will not only have goodies to keep, and fun photos of your kids, but you can also join your child in helping Haiti as 50% of all proceeds are going to an Emergency Relief Fund for Haiti. We have chosen Doctors Without Borders who is currently accepting donations for Haiti in their Emergency Relief Fund to immediately help save lives where the tragedy has occurred. Three has always been my favorite age for kids. It is that moment just before they want to do everything on their own, but they still have the bounding energy to keep you always laughing and running after them. This year, three is a bittersweet number for me. My youngest, my baby, turned three this month. I am sure this is the start of many bittersweet birthdays, but I am ever grateful and full of joy for the many images I have of him throughout the years! Three is a happy number.

This is my baby boy, at 6 months, and my big three year old boy... too big!

The piles of presents have been unwrapped, the papers and ribbons and bows all tossed aside, and now we are trying to recuperate from all of the toys and clothes! I even got a little toy myself, an attachment for my Kitchen Aid stand mixer, yay!!!!

I am now planning on taking off from the studio for a week and will be back for biz on January 4th for new inquiries, phone calls, design work, orders, etc. I hope to get to spend some much-needed quality time with my two kiddos, but also will be gearing up for the new release of some big things planned for 2010.

The details will be available in January both on the website, as well as in a newsletter to all our wonderful fans and clients... but I can let you know there will be some changes to my availability, a single price for all session fees, a new type of session, a huge price "slash" on prints and products, the introduction of a much-requested item, an expansion to one of our most popular boutique products, and more!

There are a lot of changes going on as I reflect on the success of our 2009 year. We have intently listened to clients as we strive to ever make things better, provide the best in quality products, and making everything a smooth and easy process. In 2010 we know our new changes will only enhance the experience of each client and we are so excited to start implementing them!

I can't believe Christmas is here and the year is getting closer to it's finale! It really has been one huge busy season but I have enjoyed every moment of it. Tonight, the house was full of children and laughter, excitement and joy. As my little ones are getting older I appreciate more and more, these little moments that are just SO largely important for their lives. I get to relive every moment, the excitement of the morning, and the lure of the elusive Santa. To be honest, we weren't sure if we would celebrate 'Santa Claus' for our kiddos. But unavoidably he came to us through our children, and I must say I am happy it turned out that way!

I truly appreciate all the wonderful support I've had from clients, family, and friends this season! I wanted to share our holiday card for this year with all the blog readers and hope it brings a little smile to your face, I know it did for me!

So sorry I've been so silent lately on the blog. Busy season hit the studio hard, and early this year. Next year we will have to plan even earlier! I have truly enjoyed working with ALL my lovely families this season and the final results in albums, canvases, and image boxes have really been breathtaking!

So it is that time of year again, when High School Juniors/Seniors are ready to show off their attitude for a final photo shoot for their parents. Well, with a twist of course ^_~ Check out our latest Senior who is not only beautiful, but brings a sense of modern style to an otherwise traditional photo shoot.

I had SUCH a blast with this family a few weeks ago as we took a little photo tour downtown. These boys were awesome, so much fun, and it was great chatting it up with mom and dad as well (who btw are some of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met, if you know them, I am sure you know what I'm talking about)!!! I just love how each of the boy's personality shown and were such great friends throughout the whole session. You can really see it in the photos...

Little 'L' was one of the most beautiful newborns I have ever seen, she just had this beautiful baby's face (that already didn't look so babyish) and I loved taking her photos earlier this year. So when Momma brought her back for an update, I was absolutely psyched! She is even more gorgeous than ever before... and as you can see, she has this gentle and timeless beauty about her.

One of my all-time favs...

Yesterday I finished up a group of Holiday Mini Sessions at Old Salem in Winston, and wow! I am sure it has mostly to do with the fact these families are all stunning, but I am overwhelmed with all these wonderful images!!! I was like a kid in a candy store going through them and just had to get a few posted online. And honestly it should be a crime for these mommas to be this beautiful and this smart! ^_~

If you live in Winston-Salem (or in the general Triad area) and would like to schedule a family session at Old Salem, I am going to run a special for you! If you book your session now for my remaining openings in November I will waive the travel fees for any paid family session fee! I really had a wonderful time there and would love to visit there again! But please contact me as soon as possible since I only have very, very limited availability.

I am so happy we were able to get these newborn photos in while little E was still sleepy and tiny. Both of these boys did absolutely fabulous for the photo session, timid and kind hearts I could already tell. There was just this bond, a connection I could see forming before my eyes, and when big brother J started singing (yes, singing in the last photo here!) to his bundle of love... my heart... just melted!

Halloween is quite possibly one of my favorite, no, my absolute favorite, holiday! I love the season, I love the theme, the fun pumpkins, the scary decorations, dressing up, and candy!!!! I wish Halloween lasted longer! We are already prepared with our lovely Dorothy Costume thanks to Thank Heaven Boutique.

Well, here to welcome my favorite holiday, was the perfect black cat snuggled up on the studio's porch... soaking in sunlight left over from the last days of summer. I was so excited!!!! I snapped a photo from the window with my iphone (check FB) and from my actual camera, and when I opened the door... there was no cat... only, the mist of the early morning... *spooky silence* ^_^

Not only is this my favorite season, but we will be celebrating the studio's TWO YEAR anniversary! I can't believe it! I can't wait to start celebrating!

I've got to take a moment to majorly tease the V family with 2 of my favorite images from their session!!!!

There are times when an image just leaves you speechless, but it is truly something to hold a gallery book of images in your hands where the entire book... makes your jaw drop. I love seeing these albums when they come into the studio, and every time I have to pick up my jaw up from the ground.

Here is a recently client's album, you can see for yourself these albums are absolutely divine! Flushmounted, with only a slight seam transforms these albums into large storyboards and enlargements, every page is thick and luxurious with our signature subtle canvas texture. Is this perfection?

Here lately I've had a taste for black and whites. Of course, the color images are beautiful and they still make my heart flutter, but black and whites certainly have their place in our hearts as well, so I wanted to show off a few!

This family was just awesome, their home was beautiful, the family was beautiful, their little boy was an absolute heartthrob! I really had a wonderful time with this family and will have to show off some more of my favorites soon!

You might remember this little angel, she was the perfect combination of sugar and spice ^_^ She really was SO much fun playing with at the studio, and love how her personality just shines through.

Things have been going great at the studio, albums and prints being shipped out nearly every day, as well as being quite booked right now for the next several weeks. Kristen and John have been AMAZING at the studio helping to get everything prepared and packaged oh-so-pretty. As soon as Eva learns how to tie a bow, she'll be put to work too!!!

I have to say, I recently posted that I was so excited to see this family again and have the opportunity to photograph their new little boy... However, I never thought it'd be so hard to part with the album! When Momma came to go through the images I could tell she did NOT want to part with them. Sometimes these decisions are just too hard for us, and I understand, I am the exactly same way! But this is why I love our albums. Not only are our albums the best ones available... they are just a perfect and beautiful way to capture and display all our memories.

So all that being said, I wanted to show off this album to everyone! Pay close attention to the beautifully mounted and luxuriously thick pages that all our albums feature! I just love them!

Wow, just wow! I had SUCH a blast at the BabyBaby event and was completely overwhelmed with the wonderful response from all the mommas!!!! I am so glad you all loved my work, but even more so that I got to meet so many wonderful ladies. I am very excited at the opportunity to work with you all and I can't WAIT until your little ones get here (or the ones who are here and ready for the camera!!!)

I am still here! I can't believe how long it has been since my last post. For all of you blogstalkers, I apologize! I have been SO swamped with all the amazing projects we are working on. If you've been following the blog, you will likely recall the Trunk Show we hosted at the studio! This is Part 2 of our mini photo shoot during the trunk show. I hope you all enjoy!

Last, but not least, a precious little girl that we ALL adored!

I have been so fortunate lately to see all these little boys in the studio! As you know, I have a little boy myself, and there is just something about boys that get to me! Maybe it is just that my own little one isn't so "little" anymore, or maybe that I just really connect with all the babies that come to see me. It is just such a precious thing to have photos like these, to stop time and capture it in a bottle as best we can.

I'm also excited to be showing these images off to Momma! It was so great to see her again and this time get to capture her newest, sweetest, little boy! This is just a teaser for now, hopefully more coming soon!

This is not only a Sneak Peak from my "rained out" session on Monday, it is also a peek into a new project we are working on for child models in the Triad area! We had such an amazing time this weekend! We visited the mountains of good ole' North Carolina to spend time with family, relax for a day, and have a fun fourth. I will never, ever, forget Troy's excitement as he watched the fireworks, exclaiming, "BOOM BOOM BOOM, LOOK AT THAT ONE!" I was so sure he'd be petrified but I was pleasantly surprised. So now I'm back in town with the fam, slightly more rested, a slightly more southern accent, and ready to get back to work. Here are some captures from our trip, you know I had to bring my camera!

Who, in Greensboro, didn't go to the Summer Solstice?! My facebook is flooded with pics already ^_^ I had zero time to take photos of any of the vendors (2 kids, 2 directions) but they were all great and it was a lot of fun! Here are some images I was able to snap while we were there.

Here is Eva with a sudden pose while we were waiting in line. I think this is the beginning of the photos with the cheesy-posey smiles all mom's hate, but I still can't resist melting when capturing her beautiful bright eyes.

During my attempt at capturing the elusive Firefly on camera, I accidentally capture this, and I LOVE IT!

This effect was not photoshopped, no texture added, purely straight from the camera and processed after the RAW image.

Meet Kristen, our newest intern! She is about to graduate from UNCG and loves photography. She has an olde soul and loves the dark room. She likes Apple computers, photoshop, and all things pictures!

She does some really great work on photographing architecture and took these amazing photographs of the studio for us!

I had such a wonderful time with this family. I was lucky enough to photograph her two oldest last year and now I get to meet the newest who will be coming soon! This momma is JUST beautiful and their whole family are such kind-hearted wonderful people. I am so fortunate to be a part of this special time in their lives!

We are so excited to officially announce to the public our new Premium Albums. Our current clients have been raving over them and hardly anyone has left the studio without getting one (or two!) for themselves. We are so in love with these albums and seeing your child's or family's wonderful images displayed in such an exquisite and modern album just brings joy to the work that we do.

I am so excited to post these pics for momma and friends to see! These are three very special girls who I've had the great fortune to photograph before and when their mom came up with this incredible idea for a photo shoot I was more than thrilled to be a part of it! Not only do these photographs capture the essence of childhood and imagination, but also the bond of sisterhood and the moments of a lifelong friendship. I just love the story these images tell...

You might recognize this little beauty from our spring minis. Her mommy was the winner of our mommy and me Mother's Day giveaway session, and so this past week they came to pay me a visit once again. It was truly a pleasure to capture these beautiful images. I hope as this baby girl grows and one day maybe has a daughter of her own, she'll look back on these images and reflect on what a mother's love truly means and really understand how much her own mommy really loves her. That is why I do this, so families can have something like this to cherish for years to come.

John and I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph a beautiful outdoor wedding. The location was absolutely gorgeous in this beautifully tucked away treasure right here in Greensboro, NC called The Groome Inn. We did see a sudden rain storm but after the calm of the storm we were fortunate to experience the beauty left behind.

We are busy little bees like always right now, buzzing away and getting some awesome things for you all ready! I can't wait to announce everything we've been working on but BOY am I excited about the sunshine! Just wanted to share some pics of the Studio Boys hanging out and enjoying the weather ^_^

This little guy was stylin in his little Thank Heaven Boutique romper. He was such a sweetie and we had a blast teaching little froggies how to drive that truck and smelling that stinky flower! lol

I have had a little girl who looked like a cabbage patch doll (or so you all have said :), but now I've found my very own little porcelain doll! :) This little girl came to me as part of one of our awesome boutique portrait parties. Her goreous outfit was made by an awesome children's clothing designer, the owner of Thank Heaven Boutique. Together we either host, or have clients host special portrait parties that include the regular goodies of our normal portrait parties + an extra special custom made outfit for each attendee. We had one of these parties this last weekend and this is just one of the beautiful babies that came. You too can have one of these outfits, host your own party, and get some cutie pictures like this!!! :)

I know that beauitful places like this have to exist in Greensboro somewhere right? I was so spoiled by this location shoot that I wanted to move in and bring ALL of my stuff and invite all of the neighborhood children to come over and play so I could collect a million of these kind of pictures! Not only was it the coolest farm, but I got to use some of the coolest stuff for props.. including bunnies!!! :) How fun is that?? I'm saving those pictures for mommy though cause I just can't show all of them and these ones were my absolute favorite.

Little "M" has the biggest most beautiful eyes I think I have ever seen.. well next to her big brother (whom I will share with you soon.. dont you just love these teasers! hehe) She was just the happiest little girl too, and so easy to make happy. She just loved playing with those little pearls, and didnt protest a bit when I tried to get her all dolled up for pictures! :)

I really think there is something in the water here lately because baby girls are being born all over the place!! This little newborn beauty was a big surprise to mom. She has two other little ones, the middle one is the same age as RJ. I can't imagine having a newborn right now! I give props out to this momma for sure!!! She is such a trooper, and such a sweet lady. She is a dear friend of my sister, and I know if I lived closer she would probably be a dear friend of mine. Her kids are just the CUTEST too.

Something else kind of fun about this newborn photography session is that I did this out of studio, with none of my normal props or newborn stuff! Talk about a challenge.. but something I am confidently up for again! I went around the house, gathered up a whole bunch of stuff and started posing away.

I also did some pictures for "O"s older brother.. which you will see in a bit.. but for now.. enjoy little miss newborn!

Hey everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend and we hope we can sweeten it a little by having a Mother's Day drawing!

Some of our clients received a simple and sweet handmade Mother's Day Card from the studio over the weekend and we decided to let my daughter, Eva, do a little drawing for a special giveaway!

Look at these two BEAUTIFUL sisters! They belong to a very dear friend of mine whom I had the pleasure to visit with this past week during my stay on the west coast. I had such a great time capturing some special moments of them and ofcourse catching up with mom. But, boy I tell you..being in rainy Oregon sure made me glad I live in Greensboro, NC! I missed my home! In the 11 days I was there, we had 2 days that were suitable for pictures, the rest of the time was rainy and yucky out.

We had an amazing time at the Wheels of Wonder event to benefit Alamance Mommies, a wonderful local charity a part of The Mommies Network. We had SUCH a blast playing with the kids and checking out all the awesome vehicles. Susan and I both really enjoyed photographing these two!!!

As you can see they had some great face painting at this event! This little girl was such a sweetie!

I know this great family. The little one and RJ are pretty close in age, and he shares a name with my nephew! As you can see they are all just adorable!

This cute little guy loved playing with our fire trucks! I could tell he fit right in at this great event.. just check out his shirt! hehe

I have to say I am a little partial to this little guy because he's a redhead just like RJ! :) Plus, look at how cute and styling he is in his little green polo!

This just DARLING little girl was such a vintage beauty! She has the most unique and beautiful features I have ever seen in a baby!

This little truck driver was showing me the ropes when it comes to driving a semi!

I just love these girls, and I'm so HAPPY to see they have a brand new baby girl to add to the beauty.

Our little cheerleader stopped by on her way home from practice to encourage us to keep going! :) She showed me her new moves, and then taught me a little about driving a semi! hehe Isn't she a cutie!

I love baby gummy smiles! This little girl is so cute with her two little teeth poking through.. sitting in her little tutu in the grass. :)

This little sunkissed beauty and her sister were SUCH darling little girls. The oldest was a spitfire and oh-so-cute, and the youngest just a sweet little bundle of joy. I really enjoyed playing with them and capturing some great moments.

So I caved and gave one little girl a yummy lollipop. She was so cute though I just had to!!! :) Look at those big brown eyes.. i couldn't resist!

These eyes will make your HEART MELT!

I love to have fun with the kids and let them play with our different props and toys. This little guy was so cute trying to get the little pinwheel to blow, and holding so tight onto that little fire truck as if it was about to escape from his arms if he let go! :)

The little boys were so sweet and just absolutely the cutest little brothers I have ever done pictures of!! They are just adorable! I want to take them to the beach with some little surf boards! :)

This little guy LOVED some trucks, but ran from the camera!!! I say that is just ALL boy ^_^ I was able to capture some great photos while he glanced at me in miliseconds ^_^

I just have to say I was stunned at this little one's beauty. She had these beautiful Angelina lips and BIG beautiful blue eyes. If she is already THIS beautiful she should be a model by age... NOW ^_^

Cuties cuties everywhere! And ofcourse a TON of boys excited about driving all those cool vehicles. Isn't this little guy adorable!

So little miss here was all about sitting in the comfy chair, however she was not amused by me trying to be silly.. at least that is what she was trying to make me think! heheh She cracked a little smile after all that seriousness just to make me feel better. :)

This little girl was such a sweet spirit. I would love to photograph her out in a field of wildflowers frolicking about because that would really suit her personality! Just look at that little model pose!

This little girl is a true southern belle. Have you EVER seen ringlets like these, and big beautiful blue eyes?! Move over Scarlet O'Hera!

This little man was so funny! He wanted absolutely nothing to do with getting his picture taken, but rather wanted to findout where that crazy loud noise (which sounded like a lawnmower btw) was coming from! lol Sooo I chased him down and snapped a few as he was rushing from daddies arms to and fro. I just love that little serious look he is giving me. :)

So our biggest hit of the festival with the boys were our little cars, and especially this fire truck. This little guy was having a great time driving it around. He had the sweetest disposition and the most beautiful blue eyes!

This cutie was an instant model, I LOVE her golden red hair and beautiful smile!

I just love this little guy! He was so cute! I asked him to show me where is favorite car was, so he pointed and we ran. The he climed up there and started driving that big green golf cart and even cuter than that was him in that shirt which says "I still live with my parents!" Ha! Love it love it!!!

These two cousins were such a treat! Little princess was enamored jus sitting in her throne wearing her tutu, and little man was having a blast driving the cars around town! They came to see us, just as we were about to pack up, but after looking at them you can tell why I just HAD to get a picture or two! They are just absolutely precious.. and look at that little romper he is wearing and those sandals!! How cute are they?! :)

I just LOVE this little girl! She is always so cheerful and happy and such a joy to be around! She's quickly aproaching her first birthday and she is getting so big! Momma's nxious for theses I know so enjoy! :)

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with UNCG's Department of Education recently for some of their promotional material. I LOVE working with them, and this department in particular is just awesome. I cannot express to you the passion these students have for education - I certainly can relate the passion for children but the work they will do will be far greater than I could ever hope for. So to be a part of this was truly a blessing for me. I hope the images I provide can inspire young minds to inspire other young minds!

You may remember this rock star mom from a previous post, so I wanted to share her rock star baby announcements for little Oliver because I LOVE them!

We had such a blast with our spring minis and I know our participants did too! I'll let Andrea share with you all the juicy details so keep watch on the blog because I know you will want to hear all about them! For now I just wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures of these beautiful kids!

Was it really 6 months ago I was posting up first birthday pictures? I can't believe it. RJ celebrated his half birthday this week, and is now a ripe old age of 18 months. The time has just flown by and he has changed so much, especially this last month. Its like overnight he has gone from a baby to a toddler. He's still the same cute, silly, sweet little boy who just LOVES to play outside and dig in the dirt but hes just not fitting in his clothes anymore! :)

Need I say more?

I love the moments of parenthood where we stumble upon a great new world to explore with every step our child takes. This is one of my latest favorite things to witness... Eva has a great new friend, Miss M, who we have seen before... and recently Miss M and Miss E had a little unplanned get together at a nearby playground and hit it right off. Then, Miss M, paid Eva a little visit the other afternoon and were great little gardeners in our studio garden! Of course, my camera had to make a sneak appearance so I snapped a few pictures. And wow, I am just shocked in realization of how COOL it is to have these photographs!

It really never occurred to me to have a photoshoot with a great friend, and especially at this age! But now my mind is reeling and planning out some great photo shoots for Eva and Miss M since I know, as Eva is 4 now, that this summer will spark the love of Summer for the rest of her life. (Of course, Spring has got to warm us up first so we can at least enjoy some great weather!)

So while I keep dreaming up some great plans for some friend-inspired photo shoots, I hope you enjoy some of these captures... so fun!

In between the snow an the rain we were brought newborn baby "O". What an angel I must say! She was 100% cooperative and probably the easiest newborn to photograph that I have ever seen! Boy are we spoiled! Plus.. isn't she just beautiful?!!! :) I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I did creating them.

I have to agree with everything Susan said and I should add how much I LOVE the images with the flower. I love how it was a piece of our garden, a sign of Spring, and a symbol of new life. Susan, that was just simply an awesome idea! I'm going to share a couple of our custom bordered images as well - these are the same ones many of our clients have been seeing in our new exclusive albums ^_^

I can speak as a mother. I will cherish these forever.
As my youngest is growing older I am so happy to be able to capture every little spark, every silly quirky boy-thing, every sweet little smile. As I sit and stare at these photographs of my little boy while he sleeps soundly upstairs, I know in my heart I have captured something that will become more meaningful to me with time. This moment is now, so flighty and yet so etched in my brain. But i know one day all I will have of this seemingly forever moment, are these photos. I love them with all my heart!

I don't think I can ever get bored of all these adorable babies!!! Bryce came to us a couple weeks ago and was just a little doll baby! I wish I could show you all the photos we captured but the website has to load somehow ^_~

Susan got to meet up with these fabulous moms for a little mini-shoot. And I have to tell ya, Susan rocked out these photos! She was so awesome and casual and can make a grown-up look just as amazing as she does children! While she was busy with the a-dults, I got the chance to run around after their kiddos. I LOVED IT! I can't believe they brought us some amazing little models ^_^

And his name is Carson!!! Not only does he have one of the coolest names ever, his parents are cool, and so his he! I really had such a blast hanging out with everyone and chit-chatting with C's mom (we were talking so much we kept waking him up, poor thing, lol!) Well in the end we wound up with some beautiful shots of this little guy's super-blue eyes! Definitely the bluest baby-blue eyes evah!

Welcome to the great big world little man, I am sure it will be FULL of adventures and I hope I'll be right there with ya, snappin away!

So exciting!!! I got some great prints in today of some of our fav little bw images from our newborn sessions. We have had a slew of newborns and have been so grateful to spend time hanging out with the parents and getting to know these new little bundles of joy ~ it is such an awesome and humbling experience (and a *great* way to get my baby fix since Troy is already 2!!!) John will be happy about that, ^_~

Speaking of Troy I have some photos to share of him soon, stay tuned!!!

Now about these newborn photos, I was just amazed to see these prints in their final cuteness, they just jump out at you when you walk into the boutique area!!! I'd love to know what you think, you can share some love and leave a comment below!

I was so excited to see this family again, this time with their littlest! I must say this is really my favorite age of all - toddlers are SO fun!! But this time I got to have some fun with mom and dad too! Here is a sneak peek from the session:

That is what little girls are made of right? That is sooo true for this little beauty. Miss "H" is related to one of my other little beauties and she just goes to show you that good looks run in the family FOR SURE! We keep getting newborns and we keep trying to get them to sleep for us.. and it keeps failing! lol I guess they just know how much fun we have in the studio with all the other kids and they want to see what all the fuss is about. Although it appears that she is sleeping in some of these.. it really is just a magical illusion. :) Okay okay so we did FINALLY get her to sleep.. but we had to really wear her out first.

This is little "S". She is newborn "J"'s big sister. She and I had a great time running around the studio playing together. And yes, she was nearly running around at only 9 months old! She had a blast pushing the little chairs all over the place, chasing the ball, and looking seriously out our windows. She had to be one of the most serious babies I've known, but that also made her very pleasant to be around. The last time I saw her she was giving me all kinds of grins. Mommy informed me that was probably because grandma was there too. So, I put on my best grandma face and started to play. hehehe

Susan and I are in awe of the children that have come to visit us this month. There is nothing sweeter and more precious than little babies and we are honored to have the chance to know them and watch them grow.

I am really so excited to be a part of creating something beautiful for these families, something that truly lasts forever. So I wanted to share some of the images I've captured this month and will be updating soon with some more baby stuff!

Can you believe this little man was our youngest newborn? He was also the biggest! hahah Little JH was born just around 10 lbs if memory serves me correctly and his momma is this beautiful petite woman too. Apparently he takes after his grandpa for size, but certainly his mommy and brother with his good looks and sweet tempermant. He was seriously the perfect little model for us, as you can see he was mostly sound asleep, and then smiling the rest of the time. I love newborns!!!

Eva will be turning 4 in just a couple of weeks. I can't believe how fast it is flying by, how beautiful she is becoming, how bright, and smart, and caring. She is such a wonderful child and joy to be around and each stage brings new and exciting challenges.

As a mom, and also as a photographer, it is so hard to get those moments where she will even look into the camera, let alone not be making a silly face. So for me these are some rare moments where that childlike vulnerability shows through, and then the 4-year-old-tude! ^_^

I know you have all been anxiously awaiting these pictures. This is the second time I have been able to photograph this little angel. The first time was prior to my joining the studio, but I still let you all see how beautiful she was in a blog post because I didnt want you to miss out. I'm sure you've seen her scrolling above there in the banner too. As you can see, she takes after her mommy! What a sweet and fun little girl she is and I get to see her at least twice more too (how lucky am I?) because they booked a full year package. I love doing those. Kiddos change so much during the first year and its so fun to watch them grow up right before your eyes.. hmm i mean.. my camera. ;)

I just have to say that I truly have the best job in the world. We have been so spoiled the last two weeks because we have had so many gorgeous little newborns come to see us for our New Years promotion. I could not have imagined the wonderful response we have gotten, let alone the absolute perfectness of all these beautiful little babies. I am officially in love with newborn photography! But really, can you blame me... just look at these precious little ones and I know you will fall in love too.

No no no not from me! But from this beautiful lady and I can't wait to meet the new arrival ^_^ I just wanted to share these maternity photos with you. I had SO much fun at this photo shoot, we were a bunch of goof balls ^_~

We are very excited to announce another of our new and unique products for our 2009 product line. We are scouring all of the hardest-to-find and high quality vendors for some really unique ideas and inspiration. With this release we are introducing a new way to display your smaller prints in a more effective and modern way. We love seeing the products coming into the studio, and mounted prints are some of our favorite.

Enlargements add such an incredible impact but we noticed many clients opt for the smaller 5x7 or 8x10 sizes. So we came up with a way to offer a much larger-impact option using those same smaller prints. Each print comes specially coated for longer-life without being behind glass and are printed as high-end professional photographs. Each finished piece is much larger, for the same price of the smaller mounted print. We hope our clients will enjoy these as much as we have!

The two images above are also a sneak peek into a big project we are working on, I can't wait to release more info when it is ready!!!

In our ongoing attempt to find the most contemporary and beautiful items for our clients' homes we are introducing one of our latest and greatest. We will primarily be using these for storyboards for babies and children, but they are also amazing for a high-end prints on your walls without framing. The entire image is the frame, in fact, complete with a beveled edge and a mounting inset on the back for attaching to your wall. It is very sleek, contemporary, and substantial. We love it here and I can't wait to incorporate it into more of our product designs.

This is just one awesome family, beautiful inside and out! I couldn't have asked for better clients. Not only were they willing to try out all my crazy ideas, but they performed flawlessly. They just "got it"! Always looking at the camera at the right moment, always looking at the kids at the right moment. I wound up with over a hundred photos just as beautiful as these... and that was after narrowing it down as best as possible!

We started out at their beautiful home in Chapel Hill and then made a trip over to UNC and had a BLAST!

Ok, this is attributed to Mom and Dad because they were awesome enough to put up with my craziness when I asked if we could take a bench out of their home and bring it with us, LOL! It is even better in the photos than I imagined, I am loving the wavy legs... now just to figure out a way to "take it off their hands" ^_^

This is one of my favorite shots. This was the lighting we were fighting for! The day was off-and-on drearily overcast and when we finally got a break in the clouds we jumped for it. I love the shadows!

A couple of close ups! Look at her EYES!!! She seriously had the coolest eyes ever, when going through her pictures it seemed like she had all three ee colors. She had blue-ish on the outside and brown in the center with fading green that really popped whenever she was around anything else green. Just beautiful! And there is that little guy's smile again ^_~ I told you!

I was able to squeeze in this really cool family for holiday pictures this weekend and they have 3 totally awesome and VERY energetic little ones. :) They were totally up for all my crazy ideas and even though it was difficult to get three kids and 2 adults (those were the difficult ones) looking at the camera at the same time, I think I managed to capture some super cute photos of just how much fun they all have together.

I have joined together with a wonderful Children's custom clothing boutique to bring our clients something extra special and unique. Portrait parties are always fun, lots of kids, lots of moms, and lots of pictures, but now to make them even better, we are now able to offer custom clothing for these portrait parties handmade by Thank Heave Boutique of Greensboro! Little "L" is from our very first party and you can see what a sweetie she is. It was pretty cold out there and she was just hanging out and happy like it was a beautfiul summer day! Daddy was able to tag along too so I got a couple pictures of the three of them just because! :) Enjoy!!

So I'm up really late tonight having been sick today (and still pretty sick to be honest) but I just can't sleep and as long as I don't move I think I'm fine! I was happy at least I could get some work done here at home on my laptop and I am SOOO excited to get these maternity pics posted ^_^

This mom is not only beautiful but willing to run around the railroad tracks downtown for some really unique maternity photos! She is such a model!

Have you ever seen more kissable cheeks than these???? I seriously doubt it because they just dont exist! :) "A" is one of the cutest little girls I have ever photographed, and boy what a sweet girl too. Between mommy and I we had her inside, outside, and all around and she didnt seem to be bothered one little bit (well maybe toward the end but poor mommy was starving her by then :). I decided to just give you a tiny little taste because I want the rest to be a surprise. I dont know how you are going to choose mom!!!!

I'm going to be completely honest and tell you I really dont enjoy doing pictures of adults nearly as much as I do pictures of children. lol Even though adult photography is ALOT easier, there is just something about being around the kids that is sooo much fun. This family though was definitely an exception.They were totally awesome to work with and we just had a great time capturing some special family moments. As you can tell, little princess is going to be spoiled by all her aunts and uncles.. but I know they will all agree she completely deserves it :). What an angel she was putting up with the cold, and all our craziness.. not to mentioned getting passed around for an hour. hehehe I hope it was worth the drive folks and ya'll enjoy! :)

I am so blessed to have photographed this wonderful little girl! We really had a great time trying out different things, and we had a lot of fun putting on her cute little outfits. Even on such a cold day she just has a twinkle in those big beautiful brown eyes of hers!

All I can say is WOW, what a gorgeous family!!! I had such a blast with this family out at the park, we did this session just at the perfect time where all the leaves were falling and the sunsets are gorgeous. This family was so easy to work with, and up for all my crazy ideas (you will see what I mean ^_~) I just love all the different shots we got from the family session and can't WAIT to see what they pick out!

This family was so super fun and relaxed! We had a great time getting some awesome christmas photos even if it was below zero out there (okay so not really but it sure felt like it)! The wagon is my new favorite toy because the kids love it and its so easy to play around with it (plus it fits in my car which is obviously a plus since i have to haul everything to our secret little park. :) I love workig with families like this because I love to capture those natural moments between mom, dad, and their kids. I like to just let the kids take the lead for the shoot and that's easy to do when you've got such a fun family to work with. So enough already.. bring on the pictures! ;)

I think this last one is so funny. "S" was playing with me just fine, and its like she heard mommy and daddy laughing with each other and had to see what she was missing out on. hehe

When you see this cutie pie you will know what I mean! This guy will be a star player on some sports team one day, I better keep these photos around!!! ^_^ He is a little young to put all that pressure on him but oh my is he so cute! He has the cutest little expressions, bright blue eyes, cool hair, cool clothes, and just all around a fun little guy to run around in the park with!

Its hard to believe Halloween wasn't that long ago! Here are some sneak peeks that some of our mini session clients from Halloween have been waiting for! I just had to share these ^_^ There are so many cute ones I wish I could post them all!!

I had a really cool family session with G and his family! Through most of the session G and I just hung out and played while I happened to be taking pictures, ha! He didn't even ask where his parents were (they were at Carolina Coffee and Tea next door). It was a ton of fun! I don't typically do family sessions at the studio and this was kind of a cold day but we made it work and I just love how they turned out. Lisa this is for you!

I know you all have been waiting for these so patiently! :) During the state street festival a couple weeks ago Andrea and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet some really cool families and take pictures of their beautiful children. Here are some of the highlights from that day. I hope you enjoy!!!

Andrea and I has so much fun doing our mini sessions together! Really how could we not when we had two adorable little girls to play with? Little "K" has the biggest blue eyes, which if you didn't know already is like a photographer's dream come true! :) Although we couldn't get her to give us a big smile, I still think we got some beautiful pictures!

I know everyone has totally been enjoying all of Susan's Halloween Sneak Peeks, how AWESOME were those?! We had such a blast with the kids that day and I am so excited to show all of these off to the mommas!!! I hope you all enjoy!

I'm trying to finish up the Halloween pictures and I am just having too much fun going through them. I really think that Greensboro must have the most adorable kids in the nation!!! Seriously just look at them! hehehehe.. can you get any cuter than this???

I am so excited to get this Sneak Peek up for Donovan's parents! I had lots of fun chasing after this little guy and I totally love his STYLE ^_^ Well, technically its mom's style but hey!

Another cool fact is that I totally recognized his mom from HIGH SCHOOL! How awesome is that ^_^ It was very cool chatting it up with you... ah the memories lol. Best memories in high school... playing tennis, hanging out with friends, art, chatting on AOL... worst memories, well I've blocked those out, lol.

Its so cool now to be all grown up (well almost) with my own kids now who are my whole world!!!! And to see a fellow classmate with a super cute little boy of her own. I hope I was able to capture everything you dreamed!!!

How much FUN I had on Halloween with these kids? :) We totally had a blast. Pooh bear was soooo cute! She even brought along her own full size piglet (her mommy :). She was just having a ball rocking in that little rocking chair and eating some honey out of her pot.

I have two more adorable sisters for you! I just had sooo much fun with these two! Little handy Manny was helping us fix up all of the stuff around the studio that was broken and miss little Ladybug was cruising from flower to flower leaving a little bit of smile as she went. :)

This was definitely like a "Day in the Life" type of session. I got to hang out with the most fun, loving, and diverse family in Greensboro, ha! These guys were awesome, I had such a great time with them on the weekend out at their ranch-style property. I could not have asked for sweeter kids that loved each other every minute they could get and were happy to show the camera! Here are just a FEW of all the images we captured together...

I just love these sisters! They are just the sweetest little girls and we had so much fun making a witches brew and pouncing around like kittens!

I was so excited to see little A again! She is growing up and wants to be just like big bro! She really loved playing outside, we had a great time together! She was very sweet and cautious, but then we thought it'd be a great idea to jump off of the chair we had and all caution went out the window, lol!!! It was so much fun, here are some of the sweet and fun pics we captured together.

Little "M" was such a CUTIE! He has the biggest most beaufitul brown eyes and an even bigger smile.

When I tried to think of three words that described this wonderful family I met, I came up with life, love, and laughter! Not only was Sarah super-fun and spirited, her whole family was! Paul is one very lucky man, and we are so blessed to have snagged Sarah from Australia!! Hahaha!

Something really neat that has happened in starting the studio is that I get lots of great kids! What I mean is, I hardly ever see a newborn, which is funny because that is a very common age to get portraits. I find most often my clients wait and bring their children once they are a little bit older and it works out perfectly! This way, together we capture personality, fun, character, bright eyes, and *crossing our fingers* a few smiles!!!! This is a great example of the perfect time to bring a new little baby.

I am SOOOOO excited about the new products at the studio, we still have a slew of stuff coming in but I couldn't resist taking photos of our new Image Boxes that will now be offered as a part of our Exclusive Packages when you come for your proofing session! If you pay close attention you will find in these images what our next product announcement will be about ^_~ Until then enjoy the new Image Boxes!!!

Ok so yeah I totally love my job. I get to write every blog with "I so had a blast with..." yet I don't know how else to start it! I really do just have such a great time and have so much fun really connecting with all the beautiful kids there are here in NC (and beyond!). There are few things I love more, this is truly my hearts passion.

I was given the opportunity to hang out for this portrait party, and yeah so I had my camera with me, hehehe. I wound up choosing 27 blog pics which is a bit much so I am thinking of splitting them up (and to think I left a lot of my favs out already).

Here are some great sneak peeks from my very first family session for this fall. I just love the bright colors. They really express the bright personalities of those two little girls.. who by the way kept me on my toes! ;)

Little E was just a gem! She was so cooperative even in the middle of wardrobe changes. Ofcourse she was my best friend when I gave her that big sucker. :)

I just love love love how this photo session turned out!!! The colors are so perfect for the new season and little J and his momma were so much fun! Enjoy!!

How awesome is it that Fall is here and Christmas is just around the corner. This is definitely my favorite time of the year! I love coffee and hot chocolate so I am very excited ^_^ I've been talking lately about new and exciting things going on at the studio and one of the first to release is our Christmas Card line! We are offering high-end designer cards for Christmas this year using our professional photos. Each card is made with high quality cardstock linen texture and will definitely dazzle the homes of all your families! This is definitely something everyone will be proud to display. Here is a Sneak Peek into our Christmas Card designs! We have are offering a mix of fun and funky colors, classic designs, and vintage textures.

First, we have our signature studio colors giving the ole' Red and Green a whole new twist this Christmas! You know how much we love bright and vibrant colors, so this was a definite must for the style we love.

I just love this time of year, especially now that we have a little one! The colors outside are getting more beautiful by the day, and the mornings are getting cooler, and the air is getting crisper. This weekend my hubby and I took RJ to a pumpking patch and he had such a great time riding the tractors, playing in the pumpkins and pine needles, climbing the hay bails, drivig through the corn maze, and ofcourse letting momma take a million pictures (okay well maybe not the last one hehehe)!

This was such a great little family to work with. Little "E" was just the sweetest little baby. Her precious little baby feet ended up in the shape of the heart, and it was so suitable to show her wonderful little personality. She was happy almost every minute of our shoot. Little "L" was so precious too. It took her some time to warm up to me, but by the end I think mommy could have left her play for the rest of the week! ;) I had a great time capturing some of their special moments together.

I had so much fun with Tucker playing with him at the studio. I am so excited to get these Sneak Peeks out to my friend, Heather! She was so great in working with us seeing that it was raining!!! And Tucker was such a trooper, even after the poor guy sat down right into a puddle!

What a great time I had with Sydney and parents (who happen to be good friends of ours!!) I was very excited to finally get to take pics of this absolute beauty. Sydney has the most piercing blue eyes I have ever seen! She is so beautiful, just like her mommy!

So my little baby had his first birthday this past week. I just can't beleive he is already so grown! We had a little party at the house with some family to celebrate. He had a blast and was TOTALLY spoiled rotten ofcourse! ;)

I had SO much fun with this family. Can I just say that these were some of the sweetest kids I've ever seen. This lucky little boy had not one but TWO super sweet big sisters that adore him! He is one spoiled little guy! And his spirit, let me tell you! He was so friendly and so fun and a complete joy to be around! Thank you all SO much for sharing that time with me and letting me capture your sweethearts!

Busy busy busy! So much has been going on, it has been so exciting! I am looking forward to the coming holiday season and have started quickly booking through October and into November. In the meantime check out this major cutie! J man is a little guy I would see every Monday just being his cute self so I was VERY excited to get to hang out with him this time taking pictures. So fun!!

Ally (as you can see by her cute little shirt ;) and her sister (who you shall meet later) met me at a party in the park this week. Ally was such a quite and sweet little girl. I tried my best to capture that reserved spirit in these pictures... I think for a moment she even let loose and gave me a smile or two as well!

This is little "J". She was one of the tutu models for a portrait party I just did. She shared her little tutu with the teddy bear (whom you shall see later ;). It's funny that she is small enough that it fit them both! Or maybe it is just my bear that is extra small? hahah." J" wasn't too happy to have me toating her around with that tutu on, but she did (thankfully) let me get some adorable pictures to share. Just look at that little tongue!

Its close to midnight (probably passed that by the time this is posted) and I am done with Day 2 of the Bald Head Island trip. It has been one BUSY day! I certainly am not using the word "vacation" anymore in describing this trip, ha! Especially since the only time I even saw the sand (let alone put a toe in it) was running back to the beach house in between two speakers, kicking off my shoes, and darting out onto the beach for some sunset shots.

That being said today has been AWESOME! I got to meet with Tamara Lackey and Laura Novak and ask all kinds of questions, and even got to shoot with Tamara! I was nudging my way around 15 or so other photographers all trying to get the children's attention, but still lots and lots of fun!!

So here was our lovely and most sophisticated Tamara (I know she will be using these as an avatar somewhere... come on who doesn't love Blue Steel?!)

Little "A" was just the sweetest little one year old. She hasn't been walking long and so she stumbled around in the grass exploring. We had alot of fun playing together, and I really enjoyed snapping some adorable pictures of this precious girl. I was just drawn to those big brown eyes! How could I not be?? They are beautiful!!

As many of you know I left for a photography conference today at the beautiful Bald Head Island here in North Carolina! I am happy to say I have arrived!!! It is beautiful and the house is gorgeous. I can't wait to keep everyone updated with pictures. My husband is here with me and has been taking pictures of his own, some of me and the beach, and I have a few to share as well. So here is the story...

I was SPOILED with "B". She is just too precious for words and she was bright eyed and happy almost the entire shoot! I just loved loved taking pictures of her and her mommy!!! Even when she was sad she was just adorable!

First let me start of saying that I am soooo very excited to be joining Andrea at her beautiful studio here in Greensboro! She has been such an inspiration to me and I am sooooo looking forward to our future together!!! We're going to be an awesome team.. so ya'll better watch out... we're armed and dangerous! ;)

I'd like to introduce you to two beautiful little girls who were dressed for a day out on the town (if you're a princess, which they truly are ;) . Little miss "T" and little Miss "M" were beautiful models for me and not only did I get some gorgeous pictures of them, but they also gave me my first tour of downtown. How lucky am I?!

I am so so SO excited to announce a fabulous photographer joining me at the studio as an associate photographer. Not only is she super sweet, super cool, but she is a wild and crazy shutterbug like me! I can't wait to show her off to everyone and start booking for her now! No blog info today, just working hard on my BIG SECRET that is about to be revealed very soon ^_^

I was thinking about what to title the blog for this past week, and that is all that popped into my mind. I so badly wanted to update everybody with what is going on during the week but I just have had no time at all. And by no time, I mean I've been working 14-16 hour "shifts" every day for the last week! I think my son was starting to wonder who I was for the few minutes I got to see him this week, it is heartbreaking! All this hard work is going towards good though. I am hoping that what I am doing now will give me more time in the long-run to spend with my kids on a consistant basis. Work has just gotten crazy busy and with the holiday season coming up I am planning ahead so that I don't get too overworked (like 16 hours a day for the rest of the year O.O aaaah!) So pretty soon I have some really big announcements that I am so SO excited about and will be introducing you all to some new people ^_^

On for some Sisterly Love... Here are some Sneak Peeks for one of my many mommas waiting to see their cuties on the blog. I promise, for everyone else, they are coming! Like always I am working in order of the photo session so Baby Bug Diaper models, you're next!

I had such a blast at this portrait party, it was a TON of work but having these wonderful images to share was so worth it. I had a really hard time choosing the Sneak Peeks and I'm sorry I have to limit how many I show (I think 34 is a bit much) so I am going to do the best of all in one big post. I was so excited when I was contacted by R for a shoot in Charlotte. The trip there was fabulous (we wont talk about the trip back though, lol). I loved the neighborhood they've moved into, everything was beautiful and their house was gorgeous and I know it will look gorgeous when finished. Now, just imagine their awesome house with some of these hanging on the walls!!!

Just look at his eyes, they are some of the coolest pools of deep ocean I've ever seen!

This one was so full of life, energy, and imagination, which I have *plenty* of behind the scenes, but I really enjoy this picture because it is that stillness of time (and a rare moment of seriousness).

And now for the third and newest little boy in this fabulous family... He wakes up later ;)

Whew! What a week, I have been completely absent on the blog and going full force on taking pictures this week (so I have a lot to catch up on I know!). I have about a million pictures to go through for this week, a couple tons of caffeine in my veins, and pretty much no sleep! Haha! I just can't get away from these cute little faces. I think I've taken pictures of like 30-40 people this week O.O

I have been getting tons of babies lately, woohoo! I am loving it (though not good for the momma in me, LOL!)

This was such a sweet family, and so loving, that always makes me feel great about a photo session! Not only that but when I was leaving later that day I was SO frustrated trying to get my printer to work (grrrr) that I was about to leave all flustered and angry until I got the SWEETEST email from momma M... and it just made my whole week!!!

What a precious and beautiful baby that I was given the chance to photograph! So small and sweet and cute! I instantly bonded with this family and their little one, can you believe she is just 10 weeks old?!?! I love her face, and when she opens those eyes... wow. Just beautiful. Here are some of my favorites!!! ^_^

My new best friend!! Little "A" was such a great little guy and I LOVE him for trying out some of my favorite "props". He did perfect! Even though it wasn't raining (there was still some wetness left over from a previous rain though) he was so fun playing with these boots and umbrella. But mom will now have to go buy a purple ball for him apparently (*wink!*). Hehe... here they are, enjoy!!!

I am so glad these ladies were able to come back on such a beautiful day for some photos! I am very excited to show off these Sneak Peeks for Momma!! All I can say is CUTE!!!!

I could just make a little storybook out of this! J was such a trooper and a fun little guy... and so willing to wait out the rain and still have fun and play! I had such a great time with J and his family and it was so neat to find out J's Momma and I were old schoolmates!!!! How neat is that?! ^_^

And I get just as excited to have awesome pictures of my little ones. I can't believe these turned out ok (from how they were behaving) but I am so excited every time I get more pictures of them. I am such a proud mommy! And Kate, these are just for you!!!!

This was so much fun! This was a large family with their grandparents and all the grandchildren. We had a blast at the park running around after the kids. (*Thanks, Sis, for helping me on this one!*)

This was such a great idea, these two sisters got their two sets of children together for portraits. They had a ton of fun playing with each other while we all ran around outside to snap these photos!

This photo shoot is very close to my heart, these two boys are the sweetest things you could ever meet. Just being around them you can feel that they could move the world! Round 2 of the photo posts from our modeling sessions! These sisters were perfect little curly girlies! ENJOY!

Hey everyone! We had a great time at our group photo shoot, I think it went off without a hitch. I honestly think we were the only people in our city that didn't get rained on, lol! We kept looking at the sky and never did it really start raining on us even though everyone coming in said it was raining where they came from!!! I think that was pretty awesome.

I will slowly be releasing Sneak Peeks of each child or group as we go along. My goal is to post one a DAY! So keep your eyes peeled. Our first little model is V!

So you have probably seen this cute little model around my website before! She was awesome enough to do some modeling for myself and another photographer last week. Okay, so I am totally biased, yes, but Troy is the cutest little bugger ever!!! Hehehe, he was hanging out with me late at the studio today and I was (unsuccessfully) trying to use him as my model inside with my new lens. Well... after that wasn't working out we decided to hang out in the garden and I sort of brought my camera w/ my trusty 50mm as an afterthought. Anyway, here are some photos of my cutie in the sunset.

John and I surprised Eva by showing up at her school picnic. She was SO SUPER cute and excited!! She was just all grins and so proud :) I got to capture her and some of her friends, here are some of my favs:

I had the unique opportunity to do this journalistic-style photo shoot with little miss "L" and her grandparents. She is one lucky little girl to have such caring and loving grandparents, and they are so lucky to have such a super cute little girly! Here are just a few of my favs but I couldn't post all of them!

I am very excited to get these photos up for this very sweet family! I had a great time at the park with this family, and their little boy was sooo sweet! A little on the shy side but after 5 minutes he warmed up like a charm! And how beautiful is their little girl?! I think big brother will do a great job looking out for her!

I am so excited to show off these new Sneak Peeks of J! We had a great time at the park and these smiles are especially for his mom!

Veronica and I had a blast with her bridal portraits and I just can't WAIT until the wedding! It will be so unique and fun, I'm very excited. I will say it was very hard to get a serious look from her so this first shot is awesome! She is just naturally a fun-loving and happy person and just makes you feel good to hang out with her! I love this first shot because it is an almost-serious look but you can still see she's about to laugh. After the park, we headed downtown to catch a train! Ha, we had a lot of fun, I hope you enjoy these Veronica!!!
